The Tranquil Summary
A low, curved timber lodge of 40 rooms on a bluff where the Patagonian pampa meets Lake Sarmiento, on the edge of Torres del Paine National Park. Every room faces the water and the Paine massif beyond.
Best for
First-time visitors to Patagonia who want the big views and a proper spa, with the park close but the crowds kept at arm's length.
Consider if
Consider if you want to stay inside the park itself; Tierra sits just outside it, on the quieter Lake Sarmiento side.
Why it's Tranquil
A single low building that follows the line of the land, so it barely interrupts the view. All 40 rooms face Lake Sarmiento and the Paine massif. Uma Spa has a heated indoor infinity pool in a glass pavilion, a steam room and an open-air hot tub. Guided walks and drives each day, then the spa, then dinner facing the mountains.
